Beijing, March 6, 2008 – Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business Dean Xiang Bing and Professor Li Wei met with the INCAE School of Business President Arturo Condo and his Board of Directors in Beijing to discuss common concerns, school development, and possible cooperation.
“We are very interested in getting closer to Asia and in particular to China,” said INCAE President Arturo Condo, who took over as President of INCAE last May and as part of his global focus convinced the Board of Directors to hold one of their board meetings in China this year.
Topics of discussion included the role of the business school in protecting the environment, preserving culture and history, and fostering understanding in the area of world religions. Both groups agreed on the crucial role played by quality faculty able to adapt course content to ensure relevancy to the peculiarities of business in the respective regions.
