25 Carlson School of Management MBA students spent
two weeks in
Shanghai
from 18 May. They worked with 16 Cheung Kong MBAs on a new Polaroid product launch
project. Each group completed 100 surveys in shopping malls and universities, collecting
valuable first hand data for the project. On May 29, the Vice President of Polaroid,
Scott Bayles, came to the Campus to witness the presentations delivered by the mixed
teams from Carlson and Cheung Kong.

18 May. A native of Tangshan city, Zhang Xiangqing lost both parents in the 1976
Tangshan earthquake, and explained his special bond with Sichuan earthquake survivors
because of his upbringing in the 'phoenix city'.
