Introduction
Dr. Bing Jing is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at CKGSB. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Rochester in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he was an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at NYU Stern School of Business. His research interests include mass customization, product positioning, product line, price dispersion and promotions, and information goods versioning.
 
Research Area
Dr. Jing's research interests include product differentiation (e.g., horizontal, vertical, and discrete-choice models), economics of information (e.g., consumer search and price dispersion), electronic commerce, and information systems.
 
Achievements
His prior work has appeared or will appear in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Marketing Science, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Journal of Management Information Systems, and Economics Letters, and Marketing Letters. He serves on the editorial board of Marketing Science. His honors include Beta Gamma Sigma, Who's Who in Business Higher Education, Who's Who in America, etc.
