Introduction

Dr. Teng is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Cheung Kong GSB and an Associate Professor of Strategic Management (with tenure), George Washington University (GWU). He is doctoral advisor and lead professor of the departmental doctoral program at GWU.

Research Area

Dr. Teng's current research and teaching focus on strategic alliances, M&A, entrepreneurship and innovation, and Chinese firms' global strategies.

Achievements

Dr. Teng has published over 20 articles in leading academic journals, including such top journals as Academy of Management Review and Organization Science. He is acclaimed an authority on strategic alliances, and has been interviewed by the media including the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post. His research is included in most textbooks on strategic management. He is a member of the Academy of Management and serves on the editorial board of International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal. Dr. Teng has received many rewards for his research, including the Wendell and Louis Crain Research Scholar at the School of Business, GWU. His bio appears in the Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Higher Education.
