Introduction
In addition to his role at Cheung Kong GSB, Isao Endo is Professor of corporate strategy and operational strategy at Waseda University Business School in Tokyo, one of the leading business schools in Japan. He also serves Roland Berger Japan as Chairman, which is the largest strategy consulting firm with a European origin. Isao Endo studied international economics at Waseda University and subsequently earned an MBA from Boston College.

Achievements
He worked for Mitsubishi Electric for ten years mainly in the area of overseas marketing for the factory automation business. He started his management consulting career at Boston Consulting Group in Tokyo in 1989. He also worked as Partner at Accenture and Booz Allen Hamilton, prior to joining Roland Berger in 2000.
He took a leadership role in developing the Tokyo office of Roland Berger and it has grown to become one of the major consulting firms in Japan with over 100 professionals. As a professional consultant, Isao Endo has covered a wide variety of industries such as automotive, consumer goods and electronics. He is currently a member of Supervisory Board of Roland Berger worldwide.

Isao Endo has published numerous books in the field of corporate strategy and operation strategy. Among those books, "Cultivating Gemba-Power" and "Mieruka" (Visual Control System) have been recently ranked as best-sellers in Japan.
- "Cultivating Gemba-Power" was elected No. 1 book by readers of business magazine "TopPoint" in 2004.
- "Mieruka" received the award from Nikkei as one of the three innovative books of the year 2006. These books have been translated into Chinese and Korean
